Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, supported by an expert team and advanced tax training.

You'll interview clients, prepare returns, provide IRS support, and explore opportunities to grow the business while delivering accurate, timely service in a fast-paced environment.

Franchise offices manage hiring; enrollment in Block Tax Course or knowledge assessments may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face or through virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
