Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. seeks a seasonal Tax Professional to assist clients with diverse tax needs and to grow client relationships with the support of an expert team and advanced tax training.

You will conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools, prepare complete and accurate tax returns, and help generate business growth while mentoring teammates and ensuring IRS requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and/or through virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email).
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for clients.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products/services.
• Provide clients with IRS support; Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation.
• Mentor and support teammates.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients using various channels (in-person/virtual).
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for clients.
• Support business growth and improve client retention and services.
• Provide IRS support to clients and assist with notices/audits as applicable.
• Mentor and assist fellow tax professionals.
