H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to help clients with diverse tax needs, delivering accurate returns and IRS support with the backing of an expert team.

As a Tax Pro, you will conduct interviews, prepare complete returns, and assist clients in utilizing additional products and services while maintaining strong client relationships.

Franchise offices operate independently; completion of HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment is preferred, with training provided to ensure success.

Qualifications

• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• All certification levels can provide tax notice services; Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation
• Mentor and support teammates
