Job summary

H&R Block is hiring a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll receive advanced tax training and work with an expert team to provide confident, informed financial guidance.

You’ll conduct tax interviews, prepare returns, and help grow the client base while offering IRS assistance as needed. This role requires a CPA/EA credential and experience with virtual tools in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
CPA or Enrolled Agent certification required or in progress.
Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
Experience with tax planning and audit support.
Sales and/or marketing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and via virtual tools.
Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
Generate business growth, increase client retention, offer additional products/services.
Provide clients with IRS support including audit representation where applicable.
Mentor and support teammates.
