Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare complete and accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, and to interview clients to understand financial situations.

You will deliver personalized recommendations and help clients navigate complex tax scenarios in a collaborative, client-focused environment. This in-person role requires solid tax knowledge, at least 1 year of experience, and the ability to explain concepts clearly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Experience in client-facing, consultative roles
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain tax concepts clearly

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financial situations
• Provide personalized tax saving recommendations and cross-sell offerings
