H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex tax situations with confidence. You will prepare accurate returns, uncover savings opportunities, and build lasting client relationships—backed by training, technology, a competitive hourly rate, and an incentive plan that rewards your impact as you grow in tax expertise.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, including preparing individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Interview clients to understand finances and tax implications; provide recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and promote HR Block products.
• Provide IRS support, notice assistance, and audit guidance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive client-focused office.
