Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking seasonal, experienced Tax Professionals to help clients with diverse tax needs and to deliver advanced tax training for success. You will conduct tax interviews, prepare returns, and work with a team to grow client relationships and offer additional services.

The role emphasizes mentoring teammates, leveraging virtual interview tools, and delivering IRS support. This position combines client service with growth opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Mentor and support teammates.
