Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to service clients with diverse tax needs. You will conduct interviews, prepare returns, and support clients through IRS-related matters using virtual tools and in-person interactions.

Ideal candidates have CPA/EA credentials, several years in tax or related fields, and experience with complex returns across individuals, trusts, and partnerships. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support (including audit representation where applicable).
• Mentor and support teammates.

Skills

CPA or Enrolled Agent certification

Experience with complex returns
