Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an Experienced Tax Professional for a seasonal, in-person role at a local tax office. You will prepare complete and accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, and conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation or related experience
• Experience in a client-facing or advisory role
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must meet IRS and state continuing education requirements and have a high school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and life changes
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend H&R Block products
