This is an in-person role at a local H&R Block tax office. You will interview clients, explain tax concepts clearly, and deliver empathetic, consultative service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative roles.
• Ability to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language.
• Must meet IRS and state requirements and complete CE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive client-focused office.
