H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate tax returns and guide clients through complex situations at a local office.

You’ll interview clients, identify tax-saving opportunities, and offer relevant H&R Block products while delivering empathetic, consultative service. This in-person role supports ongoing learning and client relationships in a dynamic tax office.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Experience in client-facing advisory roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations and implications.
• Provide personalized tax savings recommendations and cross-sell H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive client-focused office environment.
