H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare returns, interview clients, and identify savings opportunities in-person at a local tax office.

You will build trusted client relationships, deliver consultative service, and leverage Block training and technology. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and an incentive plan based on impact and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of tax-related experience or similar work.
• Experience in client-facing roles and advisory services.
• Ability to explain tax concepts in plain language.
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations.
• Conduct client interviews to understand finances and tax implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and cross-sell Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office.
