Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to interview clients, prepare returns, and provide IRS support. You’ll work with a team to deliver high-quality tax services and identify opportunities to grow client relationships.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in accounting or related field, with CPA/EA certification and 5+ years in accounting or tax. Familiarity with virtual interview tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate individual, trust and partnership tax returns.
• Generate business growth and increase client retention through add-on services.
• Provide clients with IRS support and audit notice handling as needed.
• Mentor and support teammates in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients via video, phone, chat or in person.
• Prepare comprehensive, accurate tax returns for multiple entity types.
• Assist clients with tax planning and respond to IRS notices as required.
• Drive client growth and retention through upselling of services.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting
