H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare complete and accurate returns for clients with diverse tax situations.

You will interview clients, assess financial details, and offer clear, personalized recommendations while building trusted client relationships. You'll work with training and technology to maximize savings opportunities and deliver empathetic, consultative service.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative role
• Strong verbal and written communication with ability to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and tax implications
• Provide personalized recommendations and uncover tax savings opportunities
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive client-focused office environment
