H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate returns for individuals and businesses. You will interview clients to understand financial situations, then provide clear recommendations and identify potential savings using H&R Block products.

This in-person role emphasizes client service, collaboration with the team, and leveraging industry-leading training and technology to deliver confident guidance and support for clients’ tax needs.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment
