Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations (individual and business).
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications, and provide personalized recommendations.
