Job summary

Jackson Hewitt is seeking Seasonal Experienced Tax Preparers to guide clients through the tax process with accuracy and expertise. You will conduct client interviews, prepare multiyear returns, and provide audit support when needed.

The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and teamwork within a supportive office environment. The position offers flexible scheduling (day, night, weekends) and opportunities for growth; no specific diploma is required, with pathways into tax

Qualifications

• 2+ seasons of tax experience
• Experience completing individual, trust, and/or partnership returns
• Passion for providing extraordinary customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Successful completion of the Jackson Hewitt Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Field Instructor, Remote Support, or Call Center certification a plus
• Tax planning and audit support experience preferred
• PTIN Certification: Yes

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Answer client calls via our national call center routing system
• Provide tax-related answers and future tax planning to clients
• Process and collect client payments with timely deposits
• Marketing and business development efforts
• Support office priorities through teamwork
• Mentor and support teammates and act as a lead when needed
• Handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion
