Job summary

Jackson Hewitt Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Entry Level Tax Preparer to guide clients through tax codes and processes with accuracy and integrity. You will interview clients, prepare and file tax returns, and provide IRS audit support as needed.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, customer service experience, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling includes day, night, weekends, and full-time or part-time options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
• PTIN certification required/beneficial.
• Experience in accounting, finance, or tax is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Complete all tax forms and e-file to IRS/state agencies.
