Jackson Hewitt is seeking a Seasonal Entry Level Tax Preparer to guide clients through tax processes with accuracy and care. You will interview clients in person, prepare multistate and year-end tax returns, and ensure compliant filings while supporting sales and client growth.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear tax explanations, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling including day, night, weekends, and part-time or full-time options.

Qualifications

• Seasonal entry-level tax preparer role; guidance, preparing accurate tax forms for clients, including multiyear, multistate, year-end tax forms.
• Excellent face-to-face client interaction and ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping, or tax is preferred; PTIN certification required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth and client retention through upselling of products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS audit support.
• Complete all related tax forms in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Handle payments and deposits from clients.
• Support marketing and business generation efforts.
• Assist clients with future tax planning and answer questions.
