H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office and gain hands-on tax and client service experience. Training and ongoing support are provided from day one as you gather information, prepare returns, and answer questions for clients.

You’ll earn a competitive hourly rate with opportunities to increase earnings as you build tax knowledge and experience. Ideal for individuals seeking to start a tax career with flexible seasonal hours.

Competenze

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma / GED or equivalent

Mansioni

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand
