H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to help clients with tax returns and questions, with training from day one. This in-person role at a local tax office emphasizes client service and accurate returns at an hourly rate.

You will meet with clients, gather information, prepare returns, identify savings opportunities, and work with teammates to support office priorities. Availability to work peak tax season hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and ability to explain information clearly.
• Problem-solving and information organization skills.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI tools.
• High school diploma / GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with guidance from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations clients can understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and suggest relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork.
