Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to join our local tax office. You will meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with guidance from experienced teammates.

No prior tax experience is required as training and support are provided from day one. This in-person role offers an hourly rate with opportunities to increase earnings as you learn and grow within the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a service-oriented environment is required.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly.
• Ability to identify solutions and address questions.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations to clients.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions with guidance.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork.
