H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with guidance from experienced teammates. You’ll explain tax concepts clearly, identify savings opportunities, and recommend products and services while building strong client relationships in a friendly, client-first environment.

No prior tax experience is required; training is provided. This in-person role offers an hourly pay rate and opportunities to grow tax knowledge and earnings

Competenze

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand
