H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to meet with clients, gather tax information, and prepare tax returns with guidance from experienced teammates. This in-person role offers training from day one and opportunities to earn more as tax knowledge grows.

You'll explain tax concepts clearly, identify savings opportunities, and build strong client relationships while supporting office priorities through teamwork. Availability includes evenings and weekends during peak tax season.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or equivalent
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma / GED or equivalent

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations so clients understand
