Job summary

H&R Block is hiring a seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office. You will meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.

You will explain tax information clearly, identify savings opportunities, and make recommendations in a way clients can easily understand while building strong client relationships and supporting office priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service or client-facing roles preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based assistance.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in an understandable way.
