Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to join a local tax office in person. No prior tax experience is required; you will receive training and support from day one while you meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns.

You will help clients understand their tax situations, identify savings opportunities, and build strong relationships through teamwork and a client-first approach. Availability may include evenings and weekends during peak tax season.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach
