H&R Block is hiring a Seasonal Tax Associate in Ohio for in-person client service. You will gather information, prepare returns, and answer questions with training and support from teammates. This role offers an hourly rate with opportunities to increase earnings as tax knowledge grows.

The position is local to your H&R Block tax office with a client-first approach and teamwork. Evening and weekend hours may be required during tax season.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly.
• Problem-solving abilities and organizing information.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations clients can understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork and a client-first approach.
