H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office. You’ll gather client information, prepare tax returns with support from teammates, and explain tax details clearly while identifying potential savings opportunities.

Training starts on day one, with competitive hourly pay and opportunities to grow as you gain tax knowledge. Evening and weekend availability during tax season is expected.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service environment.
• Strong communication skills; explain information clearly and ask questions.
• Problem-solving; organize information and identify solutions.
• Familiar with digital tools and AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations.
