H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate in Tennessee to assist clients with tax preparation and related services. You will meet with clients in person, gather tax information, and prepare returns with guidance from experienced teammates.

The role emphasizes clear communication and building strong client relationships in a fast-paced office environment. Training is provided from day one, and you’ll have opportunities to increase earnings as your tax knowledge grows.

Qualifications

Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course 1.
Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment.
Strong communication, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs.
Problem-solving and ability to organize information to identify solutions.
Comfort using digital tools and AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations clients can understand.
Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
Address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
