H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate in Georgia to start a career in tax and client services. No prior tax experience required; training and support provided from day one.

This is an in-person position at a local H&R Block tax office, with hourly pay and room to increase earnings as you gain tax knowledge. You will meet with clients, gather information, prepare tax returns, explain tax concepts clearly, and identify tax savings opportunities.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs.
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma / GED or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach.
