H&R Block in Georgia is hiring a seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office. You’ll meet with clients, gather information, prepare tax returns with guidance, and build client relationships.

No prior tax experience is required; you will receive training and support from day one, with opportunities to increase earnings as you gain tax knowledge. Ideal candidates have strong communication, problem-solving, and a service mindset; hours include evenings and weekends during tax

Qualifications

Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
Experience interacting with customers in a service environment.
Strong communication and asking questions to understand needs.
Problem-solving and organizing information.
Comfort using digital tools including Copilot and ChatGPT.
High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsabilités

Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration.
