Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate in Georgia. No prior tax experience is required as training and support are provided from day one. You will meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns in person at a local H&R Block office.

You’ll explain tax information clearly, identify savings opportunities, and work with teammates to ensure accurate filings while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs.
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma / GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach.
