H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate for an in-person role at a local tax office in Mississippi. You will gather client information, assist with tax return preparation, and answer questions while building client relationships, with training provided from day one.

You will earn a competitive hourly rate, with potential to increase earnings as tax knowledge grows, and you will work closely with experienced teammates to ensure accurate returns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.

Responsabilités

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
