Job summary

H&R Block is hiring a seasonal Tax Associate for an in-person role at a local tax office in Mississippi. You’ll meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with guidance from experienced teammates.

You’ll learn tax concepts, explain them clearly, and propose relevant products and services while building strong client relationships. No prior tax experience is required; training starts on day one, with support to advance as knowledge grows.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers in service environments
• Strong communication and asking questions to understand needs
• Problem-solving and organizing information
• Comfort using digital tools, including Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather tax information and discuss their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate returns with training and support
