Job summary

No prior tax experience required. You’ll learn to explain tax information clearly, identify savings opportunities, and build strong client relationships while supporting office priorities

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
• Strong communication and ability to explain tax information clearly.
• Problem-solving skills to identify solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma / GED.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach
