You’ll start with training and support from day one, then meet with clients to gather information and prepare tax returns while answering questions and building strong client relationships. No prior tax experience is required, and you’ll earn a competitive hourly rate with opportunities to increase earnings as you build tax knowledge and grow in the role.

Qualifications

• No prior tax experience required; completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course is part of the requirement.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach
