Job summary

H&R Block is hiring a Seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office. You will meet clients, gather information, prepare tax returns, and answer questions with guidance from experienced teammates. No prior tax experience is required; training and support are provided.

You’ll earn an hourly rate, with potential to increase as tax knowledge grows. This role is based in a local H&R Block tax office, offering hands-on client service and opportunities to learn in a supportive team

Qualifications

• Experience in service environments and ability to explain information clearly.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort using AI-assisted digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities.
