H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to help clients prepare their tax returns in person at a local tax office. No prior tax experience is required, as comprehensive training is provided from day one.

You will meet with clients, gather information, prepare returns, and explain results while identifying potential tax savings. Evening/weekend availability during peak season is helpful.

Qualifications

• Must complete H&R Block Income Tax Course 1.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment.
• Strong communication skills; ability to explain information clearly.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based systems (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
