Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local H&R Block tax office. No prior tax experience required; training and support provided from day one to prepare returns and assist clients.

You will meet with clients, gather information, and explain tax concepts clearly while identifying potential tax savings opportunities. Availability during peak periods is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, including clear explanations and asking questions to understand needs.
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems, including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
