You will meet with clients, gather tax information, and prepare returns with guidance from experienced teammates. You’ll learn quickly, earn a competitive hourly rate, and have opportunities to grow tax knowledge and earnings.

No prior tax experience is required; training and ongoing support are provided to help you build strong client relationships and contribute to office goals during peak season.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service environment.
• Strong communication skills to explain information clearly and ask questions.
• Problem-solving skills to organize information and find solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based assistants like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations.
