H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to work with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with the support of experienced teammates. You will explain tax information clearly and help identify savings opportunities while building strong client relationships.

No prior tax experience is required as training starts day one, and you’ll earn a competitive hourly rate with earnings growth as you gain knowledge. This is an in-person position at a local H&R Block tax office.

Formación

• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs.
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma / GED/ equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach.
