H&R Block is hiring a seasonal Tax Associate to meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with training from day one. You will explain tax details clearly, identify savings opportunities, and support team goals in a local office.

This in-person role offers an hourly pay and opportunities to increase earnings as tax knowledge grows, with peak periods requiring flexibility for evenings and weekends. No prior tax experience is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain information clearly.
• Problem-solving and information organization skills.
• Comfort with digital tools and AI-based systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand tax situations.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and guidance.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and suggest relevant products and services.
• Address client questions using available resources and guidance.
• Build client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork.
