H&R Block, Inc. is hiring a seasonal Tax Associate to work in person at a local tax office. You will gather client information, prepare tax returns with training, and answer questions while building client relationships. No prior tax experience is required and earnings are hourly with potential to increase as tax knowledge grows.

You will meet clients, explain tax information clearly, and identify opportunities for tax savings, supported by experienced teammates and a client-first culture.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience in service-oriented environments with customers/clients.
• Strong communication skills; ability to explain information clearly.
• Problem-solving skills with ability to organize information and identify solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based systems (Copilot, ChatGPT).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations.
