No prior tax experience is required; you will receive training and earn a competitive hourly rate with opportunities to increase earnings as you build tax knowledge. Availability to work evenings and weekends during tax season is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service environment.
• Strong communication skills; ability to explain information clearly and ask questions.
• Problem-solving skills; ability to organize information and identify solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach.
