H&R Block in Manchester, NH is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to join our client-focused team. You will meet with clients, gather information, prepare tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates, and explain tax information clearly while offering helpful recommendations.

No prior tax experience is required; you will gain tax knowledge and build strong client relationships as you work in person at a local H&R Block office during peak season.

Qualifications

• Completion of H&R Block Income Tax Course or equivalent
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment
• Strong communication and questioning to understand needs
• Strong problem-solving and information-organizing skills
• Familiarity with digital tools including AI-based solutions
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations simply
• Identify tax savings opportunities and relevant product/services
• Analyze client information and address questions with guidance and resources
• Build client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork and a client-first approach
