This in-person role is located at a local H&R Block tax office, where you’ll work directly with clients to gather information and prepare returns. You will explain tax details plainly, identify savings opportunities, and build strong client relationships through teamwork and a client-first approach.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in service environments.
• Strong communication skills to explain information clearly.
• Problem-solving with ability to organize information and identify solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based systems (Copilot, ChatGPT).
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach.
