H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office. You’ll meet with clients, gather information, prepare returns, and answer questions with training and support from day one. No prior tax experience required.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment
• Excellent communication; ability to explain information clearly and ask questions
• Strong problem-solving; ability to organize information and identify solutions
• Familiarity with digital tools and AI-based systems (Copilot, ChatGPT)
• High school diploma / GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations
• Identify tax savings opportunities and advise on relevant products/services
• Address client questions and unique situations with guidance
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities
