Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs and with the support of an expert team. You will receive advanced training to help you succeed in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include conducting tax interviews via in-person or virtual tools, preparing complete returns, generating growth and client retention, and providing IRS support. A bachelor’s in accounting or related field is required, with CPA/EA preferred and 5+ years in tax

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is preferred
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face or via virtual tools
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth and increase client retention; offer additional products/services
• Provide clients with IRS support (including notice services)
• Mentor and support teammates
