Qualifications

Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
Minimum 2 years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
High school diploma / GED / equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients including individuals and businesses.
Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications, then provide recommendations.
Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and relevant H&R Block products.
Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment.
