H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Tax Advisor to prepare accurate returns and uncover tax savings for clients in a local tax office. You'll interview clients, provide clear recommendations, and build lasting relationships with empathetic, consultative service.

In-person role offering competitive hourly pay and an incentive plan, with comprehensive training and access to industry-leading tools to grow your tax expertise and serve clients effectively.

Competenze

• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment 1.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, including preparing individual and business returns.
• Experience working in a client facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language.
• Must complete continuing education and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent required

Mansioni

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations, including individual and business returns.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations, life changes, and tax implications - then provide clear, personalized recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships by delivering empathetic, consultative service and identifying tax savings opportunities and relevant H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance to clients as needed.
• Collaborate with team members, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment
